There's certain things that get a response from me. The scent of Vanilla always reminds me of fresh cookies. Clorox bleach reminds me of my Mom, because she loved to clean with it. Popcorn always makes me think of the movies. However, it's not just scents, but also certain sights remind me of stuff. Concert tickets remind me of my first concert, New Kids on the Block. If I see a red truck, I'm reminded of my first vehicle, a Red Dodge Dakota. The colors light blue and black will always remind me of my Alma Mater, Mary G. Montgomery (Go Vikings!). And toys, of any era gone by, will always remind me of my childhood. Maybe that's why I like Vintage Toy Market so much.
Vintage Toy Market offers so many items, from days gone by. There's even some newer stuff, that collectors will enjoy. Here's some of my favorite pieces.
Who remembers He-Man? Vintage Toy Market has He-Man, along with tons of the other Master's of the Universe toys! I loved He-Man growing up. He was probably one of my first crushes (well, him and Doogie Howser).
Vintage Toy Market doesn't just have toys though. Check out this James Caan autograph. It's on a 4x6 The Godfather card and includes a Certificate of Authenticity!
Some great bloggers and I are bringing you a giveaway for a $25 Restaurant.com gift card in honor of Vintage Toy Market and the work they do to preserve these artifacts of our childhood!
